The 2017 Engineering Conference and AGM of Enugu branch of The Nigerian Society of Engineers took place on 24th August, 2017 at De Dome Event Centre, New Haven, Enugu
The theme was "Issues, Challenges and Prospect of the Engineering Profession in Nigeria."

Present in the Engineering Conference and AGM were His Excellency, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (represented by the Enugu State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Engr. Greg Nnaji), Engr. Otis Anyaeji, President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (represented by Engr. Tasiu Saad Gidari-Wudil), Prof. S.I. Oluka, dean Post Graduate School, Enugu State University, His Royal Highnes, Igwe Chikaodili Agwa, Ezedirioha III of Akegbe-Ugwu, Awkunanaw, Chief Ifeanyichukwu E.R. Okonkwo, Keynote Address Speaker and other top dignitaries.
Well enriched lectures were delivered by the key speakers and contributions from various participants were welcomed. New members were inducted into the branch and election was held for new executives.
